You have been commissioned by a media agency to develop ideas and a proposal for a new media product to promote involvement with community projects in your local area. One key aim of these projects is to encourage young people to work with more experienced members of the community to learn life-enriching new skills.
Before starting our research, I made a detailed research plan to collect primary and secondary data. I first looked for existing products that used the same medium I planned to use, and then wrote questions for a survey and focus group to collect relevant data.
After collecting primary data and doing secondary research, I created a presentation to summarise my findings. This was an important step to help me decide on the details of the final product I will produce in order for it to have the strongest impact.
Using my research, I brainstormed concepts for my final product. For each idea, I made a SWOT analysis and moodboard to help me decide which idea to develop further.
